MD-PTV Wiki

They used me. [...] Murdered me. Wore me like skin. Tore my insides out. [...] But something remained keeping me alive. It's hell.
Michael Afton, P1V15

Michael Afton, also known as Entity MA, is an entity investigated by the MD-Foundation. After Agent Crane helped Michael to escape the Foundation's facilities during Part 1, Episode 28, his whereabouts are unknown. He is the oldest son of William Afton, currently known as Springtrap. His younger siblings are Elizabeth and Evan Afton, both dead and possessing an animatronic.

His whole body is of a dark purple hue, similar to that of corpses with livor mortis. He is seen wearing only a brown pair of shorts, while the rest of his body is bare. He doesn't have hair and his eyes shine in white, similar to other animatronics. His overall appearance is that of a zombie or "non-dead".

History[]

Pre-Foundation[]

Michael Afton was send by his father, William, to the Sister Location of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, a location also created by Afton, to find his sister, Elizabeth. Michael, though skeptical at first, accepted to work at Sister Location. After a few days of working there, his father stopped answering his calls, and then the animatronics from SL —Circus Baby, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy and Ballora— killed him by using the Scooper on him, resulting in Michael's vital organs being removed from his body. After that, the four animatronics fused in a single being: Ennard, and crept in the empty body of Michael to use it as a disguise for them to flee the underground facility.

Contained at the MD-Foundation[]

The MD-Foundation found Michael hiding in an old sewer irrigation chain that was broken down and abandoned. It seemed like Michael had created a makeshift home and had been living there for a long time. After a brief negotiation, he agreed to be taken to the Foundation, with the single condition of being allowed to speak with his father.

Soon enough, a total of four interviews are scheduled for him. Only the first one is hosted by Agent Mark Robs due to Agent Crane still recovering from his confrontation with Springtrap on Episode 12 from Part 1.

Escape[]

Agent Crane visits Michael's chamber in a non-scheduled event to talk with him, to which Michael accepts gladly. The agent then mentions that "even the darkest tunnels lead to light". This gives Michael a hint about how to escape Facility 02; that being through the vents. He climbed up onto his bed and pushed a vent cover open, successfully fleeing the facility.

Personality[]

Michael is shown to be completely different to his father despite thinking that "anything he does wrong just reflects onto him too". Although being physically around his 40s or 50s, he has the personality of a 20-year-old who has been through a lot of hard moments in his life. He immediately cooperates with the Foundation's staff, answering their questions to his best capacity. He is also very polite with his interviewers, getting to the point of remembering their names and worrying about them. He even thanks Agent Robs for giving him a chance to talk to someone, something that he hasn't done in many years.[1]

After meeting with Springtrap in Episode 17, he is visibly distraught by the bad treatment he got from his father, who even tried to strangle him. The footage from Episode 19 shows him crying on his bed, and remains silent and unresponsive by his next interview. This grief-struck state is further shown in the second footage from his chamber, where he also seems to have a tendency to talk to himself out loud. Overall, it's clear that Michael suffers from a severe depression and a very low self-esteem, often blaming himself for not being a good son or taking responsibility for his father's actions.
