Springtrap, formerly known as William Afton and identified as Entity ST in MD-Foundation's records, is an entity whose whereabouts are currently unknown, and is being actively searched by the Foundation, having also activated a kill-on-sight order against him. Springtrap is a humanoid rabbit-animatronic of a rusty green color. He is missing his right ear and his eyes are bright white balls. He appears to be taller than an average man. He is the father of Michael, Elizabeth and Evan Afton.

History

Springtrap is found by the MD-Foundation at a sealed-off room inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. After he has samples taken from and is interviewed, he explains that the springlocks inside the Springbonnie suit he wore were responsible for his death, leaving him trapped inside it, subsequently coming on to possess the animatronic. He is currently a fugitive of the Foundation, having escaped from its facilities after a reunion with his oldest son, Michael Afton.

Personality

Springtrap is shown to be a cruel and violent person, often describing gruesome ways in which he intends to kill people and finding pleasure in other people's pain. According to Michael, William was also a bad father in the past, mentioning the "abusive torment" his father put him through during his childhood. William has probably always been an overall evil man, with the 30 years of confinement and isolation he spent in Freddy's only worsening his personality.

Due to his murders, almost all other animatronics have a profound hatred towards him, looking forward to kill him and make him suffer.
